WHERE FLYING IS REALITY NOT A DREAM!

The Scuola Paracadutismo Lucca and its technical staff is authorised by the E.N.A.C. (the National Civil Aviation Authorities - acting on the authority of the Transport Ministry) to operate as an official school.

The school offers tuition and instruction for all levels of skydiving starting from the first beginner course for student skydivers "allievo paracadutista" through to the Skydiver's licence "Licenza Paracadutista".

(A student with instructor tries out the emergency procedures.)

After gaining the skydiver's licence there are various certificates and qualifications awarded by the E.N.A.C. to go for and there specialisation courses in the various competitive skydiving disciplines.

(AFF course: a student with 2 instructors tries out the position for aircraft exit.)

With the A.F.F. method students make free fall jumps from altitudes of between 4000-4300m (14000ft) immediately! Initially students are supported by two instructors who assist and make the necessary corrections during the actual moments of free fall in order to gain max. learning benefits. Eventually the students progress and is then assisted by only one instructor up to the point when the student is ready to go it alone.

Before every jump, together with the instructor, students go through a rigorous step by step break down of the jump; including various exercises designed to help get the best out of the jump along with a series of safety controls. After the jump the instructor and the student discuss the various phases of the jump and the instructor will correct and offer instruction for the next jump.
